240km West of Charters Towers. Hughenden is a Sheep and Cattle producing community in the Flinders Shire. Tourism is strong in the region, with the Undara Lava Tubes and the Cobbold Gorge on the list of must see attractions. The Hann Highway takes you north from Hughenden via these two attractions into the Atherton Tablelands.
